Thank You Mr. Kerr!

Local artist and poet-extrordinaire, Ted Kerr, presented to our class last week, and we want to say THANKS!

Mr. Kerr talked to us about the importance of self-expression, and how poetry can be one tool in an artist’s “toolbox of self-expression.”  Mr. Kerr shared with us some of his own poetry, which was enjoyed by all.  He also gave us some advice about how to generate ideas from things that we encounter all around us — interesting words/phrases, objects, sounds, etc.  Thanks again, Ted!
